LBC Presenter Takes Aim At Farage For Calling Female Journalist 'Love' During Interview
<div><img src="https://img.huffingtonpost.com/asset/68fb3c1018000002dbfe41fb.jpeg?ops=scalefit_630_noupscale" alt="Aasmah Mir took aim at Farage on LBC." data-caption="Aasmah Mir took aim at Farage on LBC." data-credit-link-back="" data-credit="LBC/X" />Aasmah Mir took aim at Farage on LBC.</div><div class="content-list-component text"><p><a href="https://www.huffingtonpost.co.uk/news/lbc/">LBC </a>presenter Aasmah Mir has criticised <a href="https://www.huffingtonpost.co.uk/news/nigel-farage/">Nigel Farage </a>for calling a female journalist “love” during an interview.</p><p>She said “that is not how a prime minister behaves” as she took aim at the <a href="https://www.huffingtonpost.co.uk/news/reform-uk/">Reform UK</a> leader, who is currently riding high in the opinion polls.</p><p>Farage used the term on several occasions while being quizzed by the highly-respected <a href="https://www.huffingtonpost.co.uk/news/mishal-husain/">Mishal Husain</a> for Bloomberg.</p><p>In a monologue on her LBC show on Thursday, Mir said: “I came across a clip of Nigel Farage being interviewed by Mishal Husain for Bloomberg and I couldn’t quite believe my ears.”</p><p>She played a section of the interview in which Husain asks Farage for his views on Russia flying jets into NATO airspace.</p><p>When he says they should be shot down, Husain then asks whether he is worried that might “inflame tensions”.</p><p>Farage replies: “Listen love, you’re trying ever so hard. Listen love, you’re trying ever so hard.”</p><p>Mir said: “The thing is, I’ve interviewed a few politicians in my time, and then they feel uncomfortable, they will say things like that. </p><p>“But I’ve never, in my 25, 30 years of doing this, heard that
