Big Brother's George Booted From The House Over 'Unacceptable Language And Behaviour'

<div><img src="https://img.huffingtonpost.com/asset/68e65d4a150000360e269ae0.jpg?cache=kMK7IVeUad&ops=scalefit_630_noupscale" alt="George in the Big Brother diary room earlier this week" data-caption="George in the Big Brother diary room earlier this week" data-credit-link-back="" data-credit="Shutterstock for Big Brother" />George in the Big Brother diary room earlier this week</div><div class="content-list-component text"><p><a href="news/big-brother/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Big Brother</a> housemate George Gilbert has been ejected from this year’s series.</p><p>On Wednesday afternoon, an ITV spokesperson confirmed that George had been removed due to repeated instances of “unacceptable language and behaviour”.</p><p>“Following repeated use of unacceptable language and behaviour, George has been removed from the Big Brother House with immediate effect and will no longer participate in the programme,” a statement said.</p><p>The comments that led to George’s ejection will not be aired in tonight’s highlights show as they go against broadcasting standards.</p><p>It has also been revealed that this had been the case for past instances in which he was reprimanded for his language and behaviour earlier in the series.</p><p>George had <a href="https://www.thesun.co.uk/tv/36925285/big-brother-george-official-warning-offensive-comment-sam/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">previously been given a formal warning from producers</a> after mockingly imitating housemate Sam Ashby’s mannerisms during a game of truth or dare.</p><p>He later claimed that he had apologised to Sam over the incident, and would be “walking on eggshells around Sam from here on in”.</p></div><div><img src=&quo
