<p>NHTSA reported Teslas driving through red traffic lights and driving against direction of travel during a lane change</p><p>US automobile safety regulators have opened an investigation into Tesla vehicles equipped with its full self-driving (FSD) technology over traffic-safety violations after a series of crashes.</p><p>The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) said the electric carmaker’s FSD assistance system, which requires drivers to pay attention and intervene if needed, had “induced vehicle behaviour that violated traffic safety laws”.</p> <a href="https://www.theguardian.com/technology/2025/oct/09/tesla-cars-self-driving-us-regulators-investigation">Continue reading...</a>
