Residents reported giant hailstones of up to 7cm in some areas.</p><p>More than <a href="https://www.powercor.com.au/power-outages-and-emergencies/full-outage-list/">1,300 energy customers</a> in Victoria also woke without power, after Melbourne recorded its wettest day in a year and a half.
